How do I search for books from other libraries so I can request them though interlibrary loan?

Where do I find the database that allows me to search whether other libraries have a particular book or books on a particular subject so that I can order it through interlibrary loan?

Answer

When you search through Discovery, the default view will show you only items that we own at the Forrer Learning Commons. You can choose to expand your search to Virginia Academic Libraries or Libraries Worldwide using the facets on the left-hand side of your search results screen.

If you find an item that is available at another library that we do not own, you just need to click on the "request item through Interlibrary Loan" button, and we will get the item to you as soon as possible.
