How can I find out if a person attended Bridgewater College?

Answer

The Office of the Registrar holds modern transcripts.  Special Collections holds historic transcripts. The Special Collections Librarian may be able to tell you if a historic student was registered.

In earlier College history, lists of students enrolled for each academic term appear in the College’s academic catalogs: https://digitalcommons.bridgewater.edu/college_catalogs/

Download the individual catalogs and check the list of students by programs.  Names appear near the end of the catalogs.

You can also check to see if the person appears in the Ripples yearbooks: https://digitalcommons.bridgewater.edu/college_yearbooks/ or in the earlier The Philomeathean Monthly: https://digitalcommons.bridgewater.edu/philomathean_monthly/index.html

Alumni directories are available for use in the Reading Room by appointment. Email Stephanie at sgardner@bridgewater.edu to set up an appointment.
