Do you still have a museum?

Answer

The space where the Reuel B. Pritchett Museum was housed for many years was converted into the Bridgewater College Campus Store.  There is no longer a permanent museum gallery.  Museum artifacts central to the educational mission are in preservation storage and are experiencing a revival as material culture teaching artifacts.  176 Bridgewater College students used Special Collections in classes during the 2019-2020 year.  Museum artifacts are also shown in rotating exhibits and serve as a hands-on learning tool for Bridgewater College student assistants, interns, and volunteers. Museum artifacts are available to view by appointment.
