A couple of great books with information about the history of Bridgewater College can be found here:

• Dr. Francis Wayland’s Bridgewater College history book, Bridgewater College: The First Hundred Years:  1880 – 1980 is digitized and available here.  https://digitalcommons.bridgewater.edu/first_hundred_years/1/
• An earlier history book about Bridgewater College was edited by Dr. John W. Wayland.  Bridgewater College: Its Past and Present. A Tribute of the Alumni was published in 1905.  It is available here:  https://archive.org/details/bridgewatercolle00wayl
