How long does it take to receive an interlibrary loan?

Answer

The time to receive an interlibrary loan depends on where the item originated. Typically though, an article can take 2-3 business days, while a books can take 1-2 weeks. Since an article can be sent via email it typically is quicker than a book that must be shipped through the mail
